Music Cave rehearsal and recording studios were created by David Dixon, a recently-retired U.S. Army Officer with 23 years of service, and his wife Melody. David began his career in the Army in 1992 as an Army Bandsman and spent the first ten years of his career at home and abroad entertaining troops and host nation citizens. During his Army Band Career he served as a Drummer, Guitar Player, and Sound Engineer and shared the stage with a long list of internationally recognized artists both as a military musician and as a private musician working on the side. David has remained active on the music scene in his spare time after receiving a commission as a Field Artillery Officer in 2002 from Virginia State University R.O.T.C.
